Corporate Matching Gifts

Corporate matching gifts are often available from companies that match their employees' charitable contributions to organisations such as the Huckleberry Foundation. Please refer to your employers’ Human Resources department as to what they may require you to do.

Gift Aid Scheme

If you are a UK taxpayer, the Gift Aid scheme allows the Huckleberry Foundation to receive just over 28 pence for every £1 you donate back from HM Revenue & Customs. So, for example, if you donate £10 to the Huckleberry Foundation, HM Revenue & Customs will add £2.82, and the Huckleberry Foundation will receive £12.82 in total.

As the only costs incurred by the Huckleberry Foundation are associated with specific and planned projects the tax reclaimed through gift aid will be used to help fund further development projects identified by the Huckleberry Foundation and its charity partners.

In order for the Huckleberry Foundation to reclaim the tax you have paid on your donations, you must have paid income or capital gains tax (in the UK) equal to the tax that will be claimed. Please let us know if you stop paying tax.
